Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, etc., produced within piping disciplines
• 3D modelling of equipment, piping system and pipe support
• Development of equipment layout drawing, detailed piping drawing and isometric drawing
• Co-ordinate with process, civil & structural, electrical & instrumentation teams, to understand the elevation & structural requirements
• Manage equipment/ package vendors, verifying and ensuring quality design and supply in accordance with project specifications
• Interpret and evaluate stress/vibration analysis result and provides necessary recommendation on resolving the method of analysis
• Prepare RFQ documentations for enquiry and perform technical bid evaluation
• Participate in project technical meetings, site evaluations, etc.
• Able to keep to project schedule and resolve design issues in a timely manner
• Perform site surveys and issue internal punch list
• Review requests for changes and advise the departmental head on any out-of-scope work and the impact to schedule

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experienced in piping material engineering and stress analysis
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Self-motivated, proactive personality and hands-on
• Ability to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner
• Possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately
• Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in M365 and SharePoint is desirable
