Senior Principal Designer Piping

Under broad direction, functions as atechnical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that arerecognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensiveengineering and related activities of the company.

Negotiates critical andcontroversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of otherorganizations and companies. Performs advisory and consulting work for theorganization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in anintensely specialized area.

Job role contributes directly to value creation.

Responsibilities

Building and equipment layouts and process piping design for refineries and chemical plants

Develop construction deliverables including piping isometrics and equipment orthographic drawings

Will require leading (managing, coordinating & organizing) a small team of designers from FEL 2 thru Production Design

Travel to sites and do required field work for pipe design

Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications

25+ years of experience with piping design

Must be proficient with AutoCAD

Local refinery experience a plus
