Job Description:
HSE Leadership
• Attend Safety Audits
• Ensure that design focuses on safety in construction, maintenance and operation.
• Ensure that the work place is safe.
• Be pro-active in safety, report hazards and concerns
• Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
HR Management
• Approaches Supervisor to discuss training and development needs.
• Training and development action items close out.
Operation Management
• Knowledge and compliance with Worley drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications.
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc
Project Execution
• Prepare designs in conjunction with engineers / designers.
• Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues.
• Produce design detail drawings.
• Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
Job Requirements
Job Specific Knowledge:
• AutoCAD or Micro station 2D & 3D
• Piping Design Work
Industry Specific Experience:
• Piping Design for Offshore or Onshore Project
• Pipe Support Design
• Piping Material take Off material
• Basic pipe Stress Analysis
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
• Relevant approved diploma or certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent.
• Four years experience in the oil and gas industry in steelwork designing & drafting for offshore structures. Should be able to work without direct supervision and ensure accuracy & constructability.
