Senior Piping Engineer (temporary)

For one of our projects in Stavanger we have a vacant temporary position as Senior Piping Engineer for approx. 8 months.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform piping work in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering and As-Built phase
• Piping design in PDMS
• Assemble Piping Work packages
• Follow up Piping Prefab and offshore installation work 
• Perform offshore survey as required

What we are looking for:

• Min. Bachelor degree and 5 years relevant experience. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.

• Extensive experience from offshore modification work in Norway

• Experience in working with Flow line projects from Offshore Oil and Gas Installations on the Norwegian continental shelf

• Experience from Piping Design

• Experience from preparation of workpacks

• Familiar with 2D Microstation

• Offshore survey experience

• Knowledge of Ptil requirements and Norsok standards

• API 6A knowledge

• Experience from TCD Documentation

• Communicate wll in English and Norwegian - both oral and in writing

• Have a cooperative working attitude

• Be systematic, accurate and independent

• Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements

• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experience with others

Not mandatory, but preferable

• Study experience

• Knowledge of ProArc, Lotus Notes, SAP and other tools used in Statoil projects

• Knowledge of the customer requirements for Statoil
