My client is one of the world's top EPC contractors in the power industry. They are seeking a PDMS Modeller who is highly familiar with coal-fired and CCGT power plants. The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, and the contract will be 6-12 months.

Qualifications
- Must be experienced in 3D modeling software tool (e.g. PDS / PDMS/ Microstation). PDMS experience is desirable.

- Shall be able to read P&ID, equipment layout, piping study drawings, and other related engineering drawings to build a clash free and consistent 3D model
- Able to use piping deliverables including but not limited to piping component and its dimensions, equipment layout, plot plan, piping specification, standard pipe supports, piping GA etc is desirable
- Be skilled in piping 3D modeling activities along with exposure to other necessary modules like pipe supporting, Isogen, Interference / clash check etc. Extract one or more of isometrics, piping GA, nozzle orientation, and various types of reports from the model. Shall be able to deliver the output from model with minimum quality requirements. Awareness of modules like civil & structural, electrical, instrumentation will be desirable.
- Shall be aware of right inputs to the model and shall be responsible for quality of outputs produced from the model.
- Awareness of clash detection or checking activities and shall be responsible for clash free model. Use of Naviswork review is desirable.

Education Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Software skills: 3D Environment e.g. PDS/ PDMS/ Bently/ Microstation or AutoCAD

- MS Office
