Overview
Foster Wheeler has an opportunity for a Graduate Piping Engineer. There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing global market. As a result of this, Piping Department operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool.
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Piping Discipline Head, the main functions of the role will be to assist in design of detail piping arrangement Involved and assisted in preparation & design of piping equipment layout for complete plant and modular skid for petroleum, petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical plants

Coordinate & interface with instrument, steel structure and equipment requirements

Assist in preparing technical specifications or data sheets for the purchase of piping components. Clarification and evaluation of vendor quotations
Qualifications
-
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering encompassed with a keen interest to join the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
- Graduate is also welcome
- 1-2 years experience in pipe layout, piping materials and stress analysis

Result oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication and interpersonal skills

Team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and tight timelines

Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive

Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills

Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win

Ability to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing mutual trust and teamwork
- Mechanical Engineering License holder
- Good English communication.
