SR. PRINCIPAL DESIGNER – MECHANICAL
Under broad direction, the Sr. Principal Designer functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Incumbent negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers. He/She performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area. Job role contributes directly to value creation.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
· Associates degree from accredited college or university is preferred, but not required
· 10 - 15+ years of piping experience related to the layout of chemical, power and refinery, rotating and packaged equipment
· Must be proficient in PDMS Pipe Module and the DuPont Design layer
· Must be experienced with development of project scope, work hour estimates, project budgets, schedules and all mechanical/piping construction
