Job Description

Scope

• Under the general supervision of Design Supervisor, he assists with development of Mechanical/Piping design drawings.
• Prepares and updates drawings using CADD Microstation, knowledge of 3D PDS a plus.
• Familiar with Saudi Aramco Drafting procedures, CADD Standards and Autosacs preferred.
• Maybe assigned to any location or group within the WPC-MPP.

Principal Duties

• Drafts, prepares and updates mechanical/piping drawings such as PID's, piping layout, plans and elevation, etc from piping isometrics, redlines, rough sketches, vendor data, reports and notes.
• Checks drawings, designs and work prepared by others.
• Makes site inspections and surveys to field verify designs and gather additional as-built data that may be required to resolve design issues and technical problems.
• Maintains Drawing Controls and provides drawing status to Design Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• BS Degree in Engineering with five years minimum relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry (preferably offshore)
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Good command of CADD Microstation
• Good skills with MS Excel and MS Word
• Ability to Mentor Drafting Trainees
