POSITION SUMMARY:
Functions as a technical specialist who does Mechanical detailing of complexPIPING systems.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.

Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.

Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area. Job role contributes directly to value creation.

Work sharing with Houston.

Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Ensures that all personnel assigned to the operations receive appropriate safety training and adhere to all safety standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1
The candidate shall be a first class graduate in Mechanical Engineering and should have minimum 8+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas engineering field in the PIPING flexibility analysis area.

Very good familiarity and experience with Caesar II program for PIPINGflexibility analysis.

Familiarized with ASME B31.3 code & all applicable API codes namely: API 610, API 617, API 650, API 660 & NEMA SM23.

Familiarized with flexibility analysis of critical equipment items namely: Reactors, Pressure vessels, Centrifugal pumps, compressors, steam turbines & fired heaters.
5
Familiarized with EJMA standards (Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association) and experienced in selecting/designing expansion joints.

Experienced in analyzing and solving complex PIPING systems and PDS model review
7
Candidate should be willing to travel domestically or internationally.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Manages key business relationships with clients and with Technology Business Unit Managerial teams in India and Houston.
