Job Description
- Create shop drawings based on client given information, specifications and calculations. Incorporating all the details in the drawings
- Make the drawings in keeping with company standards
- Provide MTO based on drawing details
- Maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Leads.
- Drawing tasks will include but not limited to; development and maintenance of a drawing numbering system, proper control of revisions received either from client, regulatory authority or internally generated requirement
- Lead piping team in drafting standard
- Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments when necessary
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experiences in the same field
- Able to read P&ID drawings, update as-built (e.g. redline)
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC systems
- Must be able to work in an environment with schedules and priorities
- Hands on knowledge on AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge and experience with SpoolGen set up for project will be advantageous
