Engineer/Sr. Engineer – Piping Job Description
Performs design for safe, operable and economic standards
Ensures the designs meet the quality and agreed project requirements
Performs as Support engineer and executes project design works
Executes the engineering & design works within budget and schedule
Co-ordinates with other disciplines & resolves the engineering issues
Provides engineering inputs during all design phases including interpretation and challenge of standards
Actively communicates with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes
Ensures design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental & ergonomic standards
Discusses with support Engineers & Designers regularly on scope, man-hours and schedule etc
Prepares material requisitions, evaluate technical bids & reviews vendor/ third party documents
Participates in the Technical reviews and progress review of projects
Familiar with the Company procedures and international standards & codes
Engineer/Sr. Engineer – Piping : Candidate Specification
Engineer with upto 8
years of experience
piping Layout + Materials in different types of projects which includes Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Oil & gas executed in multiple discipline work environment.
Ability to support, lead and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance with strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
Experience of handling various types of small and big assignments as member of task-forces to carry out detail engineering of the assigned project especially in Fast track environment
Familiar with several international design codes & standards like ANSI, DIN, BS etc
Experience of using 3D tools like PDMS, Navisworks, Review Reality6.3, AutoCAD and MS-office utilities
