An Oil & Gas company in Abu Dhabi, UAE is currently looking for a Piping Engineer on a residential Basis.
Job Purpose & Scope:
- Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matter pertaining to Piping Engineering related to layout, specification and stress analysis.
- Ensure design optimization and the application of correct Codes and Standards in the development of projects
- Work as a member of multidisciplinary team and coordinate/ interact with company project management team, site personnel, and external consultants and ensures successful execution of projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in oil & gas industry (offshore & onshore), with comprehensive hands-on experience in all fields of piping engineering (i.e. piping Layout, Piping Material, and Piping Stress Analysis).
- Detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
- Experienced with piping design, layout and modeling computer programs and general business software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
Terms and Conditions
Work Location: Residential - Abu Dhabi based
Contract Duration: 12 months (yearly renewable)
Working Days: 5 Days per week
Working hours: 8 hours per day
Visa Status: Single Status
Mobilization and Demobilization arrangement/expenses will be provided.
One annual flight provided per year, in addition to mobilization and demobilization.
