We now require Piping Designer – SP3D to provide expertise on multi-disciplinary Projects based in our Sharjah office, UAE. Working in a multidisciplinary team of Engineers / Designers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is a great opportunity for an Architect to gain additional and more technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultant

Core Responsibilities:

Will perform as a Piping Designer with the responsibility of performing layout, design and checking of work from basic data supplied under minimal supervision.
Familiarity with equipment items and piping materials and their function in the design of an Oil & Gas Production Facility.
Utilize Intergraph SP-3D software to develop 3D model of the Plant (equipment/Piping/Plant layout) and produce piping design 2D deliverables using Micro station after extracting from the Model.
Provide direction to junior designers/drafters and have the capability to perform design and document reviews for accuracy, completeness, compliance to company and project specifications and standards.

Core Requirements:

5+ years of experience Piping modeling using SP-3D /Oracle /Microstation
Requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Requires a minimum of Ten (10) years of piping layout and design experience relating to the Upstream Oil & Gas market working on engineering projects for clients such as Saudi Aramco/ADNOC Group of Companies etc in the Middle East.
Must have advanced knowledge of Intergraph SP-3D (Minimum 5 years of working on SP-3D software)
Must have a strong knowledge of ASME /API codes and standards.
Requires a proven ability to conduct layout and design for Piping Systems.
Must have knowledge of pipe and fittings, valves, and piping specialties.
Must have the ability to develop isometrics from orthographic drawing.
