Brief Posting Description

We are currently recruiting for a Piping Engineer on a permanent basis located at our office in Tengiz

Detailed Description

Identifies the piping content of a scope of work and plan the execution of the work required to complete that scope;
Prepares piping engineering calculations and drawings;
Takes part in discussions regarding estimates, resources, man power allocation and survey time required to enable a plan to be produced;
Engineering input for layout studies to route new pipes and equipment; assists the designers in producing piping general arrangements of the newly routed pipes;
Engineering input to piping isometric and pipe support details;
Assist with compiling the Work packs;
Input data into WGPSN document management (Documentum) system;
Interfaces with Engineering disciplines, Client, vendors and Piping engineering groups;
Obtains any job required certifications and trainings in due time and with diligence;
Becomes proficient in the understanding of and usage of Company and Client standards, procedures and practices; RoK and international regulations and standards (DEP’s API etc…);
Carries out work in accordance with company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems.
Creates requisitions for piping materials including valves.
Carries out technical bid evaluation of piping items for procurement.

Job Requirements

Technically competent in the field of Piping Engineering;
Computer literate;
Knowledge of local (ROK) and international standards applicable to their position;
Awareness of piping fabrication, construction, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of facilities.
Experience in piping engineering 1-3 years;
Oil & Gas Brownfield experience preferred

Undergraduate degree in Engineering
