Purpose:

Provide discipline specific piping design and drafting services using AutoCAD and CADWorx software for WorleyParsons and its clients. Perform piping design activities at refinery sites including as-built drawing efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Working with Piping Department to complete small piping projects  
    • Creating and editing drawings as required.
    • Work collaboratively and effectively with other designers and engineers in all departments to support projects as needed.
    • Field work as required and multiple client sites.
    • Building CADWorx piping models for refinery and other industrial clients.
    • Working with laser scan data (point clouds).
    • Creating isometric and plan/elevation drawings in AutoCAD.

What you will bring

  • Minimum high school education with basic computer skills including and relevant approved certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent for CAD training. .
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD. 
  • Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a minimum of a High School diploma or higher, and/or relevant approved certificate from a state or technical education department, or equivalent for 3D CAD training. In addition, the candidate should have good computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

This person should also have good verbal/written communication skills and able to work safely in a refinery environment while performing piping design activities at refinery sites including as-built drawing efforts. Refinery field activities could involve climbing ladders, platforms, etc.
