Position Title:
Senior Piping/ Mechanical Engineer
Business Division: Offshore Engineering


Primary Purpose of the Job:

• Proven technical competency in piping/mechanical design/engineering and ability to carry out safe and fit-for-purpose designs.
• Knowledge on material selection for equipment and piping items and facilities.
• Presentation skills.Thorough knowledge of industry/international standards and ability to interpret the same for specific applications.
• Working Knowledge of Contracts.
• Experience in construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Experience in 3D modelling of piping systems.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience & Skills:

• 15 years or more of post graduate experience in oil & Gas industry of this there should be minimum 5 years of experience in piping detailed design, engineering and layout of offshore oil and gas installations.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• Proficiency in use of piping/mechanical engineering analysis software like CAESER-II, PVElite, and drafting software like AUTOCAD.
• Supervisory skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to plan and organize workload comprising multiple Projects, located in company's different offshore operational areas.
