The Engineering & IM division is responsible for all engineering, IS/IT and information management activities in our projects.
The senior piping stress & flexibility role consists of designing piping and pipe support including create 3D models, perform stress calculations and prepare requisitions for piping and pipe support materials. We have the technical responsibility for manual valves in our projects. We establish and maintain the required specifications in PDMS for 3D modeling. The department has a multi-disciplinary responsibility to ensure that our projects have a functional layout, where HSE, access, operations and maintenance are taken care of
Piping & Layout prepare various reports and drawings for fabrication, testing and offshore installation. We travel offshore for inspections, work offshore as field engineers, and participate during project completion

        Job description

  • Perform pipe stress analysis work in pre-engineering and detail engineering phase
  • Prepare stress report and input to 3’rd party verification
  • Perform finite element analysis of piping components
  • Perform offshore survey if required
  • Perform discipline and inter discipline cooperation
  • Establish design premises in projects and procedures for basic department.
  • Ensure that all risk elements, HSE and quality requirements are taken care of
  • Actively contribute to learning, experience sharing and improvements
        Qualifications
  • University or technical college degree (BsC or MsC preferred)
  • Long relevant multidiscipline experience (5-10 years) with stress & flexibility projects and good knowledge and with rules and regulations for an offshore platform
  • Detailed knowledge within piping and pipe supports
  • Caesar II knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge within ASME B31.3, PED, EN-13480
  • Familiar with 3D and 2D tool
  • Excellent English skills, written and oral (Norwegian would be an asset)
