This office is part of Foster Wheeler's EMEA Upstream Operating Unit and focuses on the execution of Studies, FEEDs and EPC services in the both Onshore and Offshore sectors. Purpose of Position:

Provide discipline specific design and drafting services to WorleyParsons and its clients, including technical support and supervision both within the discipline and to other disciplines.

If required, manage and lead a small discipline team.


1. Deliver discipline specific design and drafting services that meet WorleyParsons, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

2. Initiate, manage and if required supervise, design and drafting assignments on projects requirements on time and within budget.

3. Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:

a) Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;

b) If required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;

c) Prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;

Job Description

a.  Lead and control Contractor’s activities in the development of design drafting and the operation of Contractor’s drafting shops at Minas and Duri in Company’s Area of operation

b.  Work closely with Company for overall execution of On-site Drafting Services, including for resources planning, prioritization and leveling.

c.  Develop and maintain drawing specifications, numbering and filing system.

d.  Ensure that all processes and procedures in Contractor’s drafting execution and drafting QA/QC plan, are consistently and well implemented during Contract period.

e.  Implement and monitor Contractor’s key performance indicators related to On-site Drafting Services.

f.   Execute continuous mentoring program from senior to junior personnel in Contractor’s drafting shops during the performance of Services including tracking of its effectiveness and documenting               the results.

g.  Report to and assist Manager Engineering in executing On-site Drafting Services.

Job Requirements

a.  Minimum education is to possess an engineering degree (S1) with 10 years working experience or engineering diploma degree (D3) with 15 years working experience, both in engineering design and rafting.

b.  Minimum 8 years of which (with S1 degree) or 12 years of which (with D3 degree), working in oil & gas or petrochemical handling projects and/or facilities.

c.  The candidate shall be fluent with all design codes and standards relevant to each discipline (process, mechanical & piping, electrical, instrument & control, civil & structural) which are relevant to   the oil and gas industry.

d.  The candidate shall be proficient with CADD baseline software: Intergraph Microstation version 8i, and familiar with 3D modeling baseline software: PDMS and Naviswork Review.
