SNC-Lavalin’s Calgary Hydrocarbons & Chemicals office provides a comprehensive range of engineering, procurement and construction services in oil sands mining, extraction & bitumen production, gas processing, petroleum refining and petrochemicals, and pipelines for the Canadian market and markets around the world.

SNC-Lavalin's Calgary Hydrocarbons and Chemicals office is seeking Piping Design personnel.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:
• Reporting to overall Piping Discipline Lead.
• Production of advanced and complex design in Process and/or Utility Piping.
• Drawing and Design review to control quality and accuracy.
• Organization of work to meet priorities and schedule.
• Scope change notification.
• Coordination with piping stress and other engineering disciplines.
• Support client model reviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Sound Piping system layout skills are a requirement for these positions.
• Five to fifteen years experience in Piping Design within the oil and gas industry in an EPC environment.
• Knowledge and experience working with Rebis AutoPlant software
• Solid knowledge of process equipment types, process P&ID’s and line lists.
• Ability to produce piping layouts or studies.
• Knowledge of pipe support types and applications
• Ability to produce accurate material quantity take off from piping layouts.
