Job Description
- Strong understanding of basic engineering and/or design/drafting concepts.
- Completes somewhat technical and relatively difficult design assignments in one discipline, generally utilizing either 2D or 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) methods.
- Technical skills gained from education/training and experience over many years enables this level of Designer to work independently and complete somewhat demanding design assignments.
Job Requirements
- Requires an AA degree, a Certificate of Completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or 5 to 8 years of design experience) and a minimum of 5 years related experience and strong CAD skills.
- Must have used CadWorx in piping design for at least 2 years.
- Typically, incumbents have 5 or more years of piping design experience.
- Must have general understanding of other disciplines' roles in the design process.
- Willingness to travel or to accept field assignments preferred.
